Laura Doheny

Vancouver Store Manager

Laura has worked at Hunters Garden Centre for over 20 years! She first started as a volunteer and worked her way up from part-time to full-time. She then moved to Nursery Supervisor, Assistant Manager, and now Store Manager.

Laura went to UBC for Garden Design and is also a former Master Gardener with Van Dusen. She is the gardening queen on West Broadway and is always happy to help answer any questions you may have!

Laura has lived in Kitsilano for more than 30 years and has a long-standing relationship with customers and suppliers. The customers that walk into her store are not only her neighbours but her friends, which is one of Laura’s favourite things about working at Hunters Garden Centre.

When she’s not at work, you will find Laura walking around the neighbourhood with her dog.
