Fall flowering Heather, also known as ‘Bud Blooming’ heather, are great perennials to add to your garden. Botanically known as Calluna vulgaris they are a close relative of their winter and spring blooming cousin, Erica. The Calluna types of Heather start blooming in early September and bloom repeatedly through December. Few plants bloom for as long as these little beauties.
