Plant a Sea of Colour with Crocus Bulbs!

Crocus are one of the most popular spring flowering bulbs to plant in your garden. The most common colours are purple, yellow, and white but they also come in several bi-colour or striped varieties. These little beauties grow to be about 4 to 6 inches tall and produce an abundance of flowers in early spring.

If you leave Crocus bulbs in the ground they can spread to grow and bloom again the next year. This is called naturalizing. You can plant them in masses in your garden, or even plant them as a part of your lawn. Just wait until after they have stored enough energy for next year before you mow them down.

At Hunters Garden Centre in Surrey and Vancouver we have lots of Crocus bulb varieties to choose from. Ask us for expert advice or any fall gardening tips you may need help with!
