Add a touch of Spring to Your Garden with Spring Blooming Heather!

One of the most prolific flowering Perennials for the early spring is Heather. There are many types of Heather but the most beautiful are the Spring Blooming varieties belong to the Erica genus. Often classified as winter blooming varieties the Erica varieties will start blooming in late December and will often bloom until April or May. You can choose from a number of different varieties. Most have either white, pink, or red flowers.

You can also choose from the “Spring Tip” varieties that produce beautiful colours on the new foliage that grows in the spring. They belong to the genus Calluna and later in the summer these varieties will bloom giving you several seasons of colour.
